While a bigger spend is required to see value from this program, you could increase your potential earn by making use of your linked Diners Card. We are looking at buying a new iPad and have 181000 points. How much will that reduce the price of my iPad?

Hi Geoffrey, you’re on Australia’s top credit card comparison site, Creditcard.com.au. Anyhow, the ability to purchase an iPad (or any item) with your Citi reward Points will depend on the specific card you have and the price of the iPad. For Citi Rewards, Premier, or Prestige credit cards, 2,500 points is equivalent to $10, while for Citi Classic or Gold, it's 4,000 points for $10. To get more details on redeeming your points for an iPad, I recommend contacting Citi Rewards at 13 24 84.

Hi Sheila, if your voucher comes with a barcode you could try adding it to your wallet. If not, check with the specific retailer for digital redemptions. Good luck!

Hi Yashawant, Citi rewards and Qantas frequent flyer are 2 separate rewards programs. Citi points are redeemed through the Citi Rewards store and Qantas Points can be redeemed at Qantas. There are some Citi cards that allow you to earn Citi rewards points or Qantas points - depending on which card you have.

how do you use the e-vouchers ?
    Pauline - CreditCard.com.au

    Pauline

    16 August 2022
Hi Ron, the e-vouchers are technically eGift cards and they have no expiry date and can be used for multiple transactions instore and online. They can be used at stores like Myer, JB Hi-Fi or Coles. Hope this has helped!

I also wish to redeem my Citi rewards points to Woolworths evouchers. I have however found many sites which provide contradictory information. Some say evoucher expires in 3 years and also can only be used in one transaction. Eg. if you only spend $20 on a $100 voucher the other $80 is forfeit. Can you clarify the Citibank criteria and evoucher use, please

Hi Alex, you’re right, the info online is a whirlwind of contradiction between eVouchers, Gift Cards and eGift Cards. This got me so curious that I called Woollies. Final result: customer service said eVouchers are promotional only. Therefore, the gift cards you can redeem for Citi Rewards would have to be eGift Cards (despite the Citi Rewards site stating they’re eVouchers – I suspect they have the terminology wrong🤦) that are sent to your email, have no expiry date and can be used for multiple transactions instore and online. It wouldn’t hurt to call Citi Rewards for another dollop of confidence before you redeem your hard-earned points. Thanks Alex - I enjoyed going down that rabbit hole!

Redeem points to Woolworths evoucher, can I use the voucher for multiple transactions? any expert date on the evoucher?
    Pauline - CreditCard.com.au

    15 July 2022
Hi Mary, each Woolworths eVoucher acts like a “prepaid card”. So if you have a $100 Woolies evoucher, and do a $20 grocery shop, you’ll be left with $80 to spend next time. The cards have no expiry date so you can spend your voucher whenever you’re ready. Hope this helps!

Hi Lalit, unfortunately you can’t transfer Citi rewards to Qantas. You can transfer to Emirates Skywards, Velocity Frequent Flyer and Singapore Airlines Krisflyer. Citi have a dedicated Qantas credit card that you can read our review of.
